Mendy Fry - Setting The Pace!
Mendy raced quarter midgets at age 4, by age 16 was driving B-Econo Dragster in NHRA Competition Eliminatro. She was undefeated in Super Street Class and held the "World's Quickest & Fastest Street Legal Hot Rod". She also raced NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster and was youngest driver in her class at the time. In 2000 Mendy was honored as Grand Marshall of the Goodguys 12th National Sonoma Nitro Nationals(where she burst into flames). 2004 She began driving for Rootbeer and made her first burnout in the car on May 24th the day before her 35th birthday. From that day forward she went on to not only become the fastest female in front engine dragster history; with a 5:87/251mph, she also broke the speed record for Rootbeer's car. Now if that wasn't enough, she also became #6 ever to run 250mph in a top fuel Nostaligia dragster. She sure makes the boys nervous! She earned us all a "250 hat" that day, and when asked she modestly said "All I did was hold the pedal down and keep it straight."
This Girl was on FIRE!
