Meanwhile...at the Winter Nationals in Pamona!!!

Well, let's see....the latest is the Winter Nationals in Pamona! Our Pilot Gibson qualified the BME car 7th. Got by Birnstein in the 1st round and then up in smoke in the second round. Oh well! They had fun. That's right! we were there as spectators! Ya know you get so caught up in working on your own car you forget what it is to walk around and watch. It was very different and wonderful. Now don't get the wrong idea. We were functional as well as decorative...we were there to start up the Rattler in the second annual "Cackle Fest". So many people, so many memories, so little time...SOOOO much "tech talk" you would have thought it was a foreign country.

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Larry Dixon Jr. . Watching the two of them together, working with each other and the pride they both felt for each other. During Bob Fry's interview he said "alright who ever has won the Winter Nationals raise their hand and both did. But, ya know I noticed Walt Stevens was proudly sporting his NHRA tag.(cause he won the Winter Nationals back in ?)
